Don't Work to Be Rich

⁴Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.

These are the words of the wise king, King Solomon, in Proverbs chapter 23. He tells us do not do a thing to become rich and the stop the use of our own wisdom! Why?

⁵Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

When you work to become rich, you are setting your eyes on things that barely exist; and that can certainly be here one day and gone the next. Riches make themselves wings and fly away. As many rags to riches stories we have in our world, there is equally just as many riches to rags. This is because they set their heart on getting rich and forgot the other tangibles.

Peace and blessings have a great day today remembering those wise lines. Work to serve others, to help others, and you will become richer than you ever thought.

Get Up and Make a Bold Change

I thought this was a very interesting and refreshing story. A business grad and worker gets up leaves America for Japan not to pursue business in Japan, but an acting career.

He has succeeded, and we all know we can get up and make bold changes in our lives in the face of criticism if we only believe in what we are doing and have the vision and fortitude to do it all the way. Here is the video below:
