A Little Pain Doesn't Hurt

Are you tired? Have you had enough? Does it hurt? Welcome to life; this is a constant manufacturing of the making of a great you. There are pieces to this puzzle, there are things you gotta go through, but we shouldn't try to avoid pain.

Pain is good; pain indicates you have troubles that you need to attend to. The good news is that it does not have to be that way...pain is not forever. A little pain doesn't hurt, but ongoing average-ness does!

Are You In Control of Your Life

Are You In Control of Your Life

Hey there, this is a pretty deep question because most of the time we think we are, but we really are not. A few years ago, I wrote a blog post title The Blueprint of Life and I pretty much was outlining how your life needs a blueprint.

You cannot build or create anything without the blueprints (or rendering) so it is necessary to create a blueprint for your own life. But how? You have to really 'architect' your steps (and any real architects out there like my brother, feel free to add onto this blog post).

There is a multistep process but I want to super simplify it in this article. We all have these things in our minds; what we want to be, what we want to do, what we want to have. BE-DO-HAVE!

How to Know if You are in Control of Your Life

You have to be definitive when it comes to being in control of your life. You have to define in detail who and what you want to be. Ask yourself just like you would ask a kid, "what do you want to be when you grow up." Who do you want to be? Define that in detail so you can clearly see it in your mind. An example would be that you want to be the Dentist to other dentist and you want to write a book on top oral hygiene practices and travel the country speaking to people about the best practices for oral hygiene.

DO

What do you want to do? Now you may think this was answered in the example above; where you want to travel the country and write this book right. Well that is not it. Do means, what do you want to be doing. So sure you want to be dentist traveling the country, but what else do you want to do. You may want to help the homeless, join a motorcycle club, travel to exotic islands, taking a trip to Egypt, play in amateur sports leagues, etc.

What do you want to do? This is called dreaming, but if you don't organize and detail your dream, it won't turn into a reality anytime soon.

The last bit is HAVE

What do you want to have? The new house, 30 million dollars in the bank, a new Chevy Volt, extensive wardrobe, a beautiful wife, 4 or 5 kids, etc., the list is for you to outline. Once you have a detailed formation of what you want to be, what you want to do, and what you want to have; the blueprint can now take form.

One key to this is to be very opened minded (hey not that open...get back here). But you want to analyze the ways and things people tell you are the only way to skin a cat. Go to school, get a good job, and get a good education in order to land a good job is the mainstream, safe way. I agree with it if you want to be safe and successful. But even if you go this path, you have to dream BIG with it. Don't just be an average doctor, lawyer, or office manager; be the absolute best with the highest potential of income and lifestyle for yourself and your family.

The reality is that homeless dudes are teaching people how to make millions online. The world is changed and so to only look at one way or one vehicle to get you to your desired lifestyle is not wise (in the age we live in today).

Read books, listen to positive mental messages, practice autosuggestion, limit or don't watch the news, especially local news, and really develop as an individual. Outline your plan in detail and really go after it. What you'll notice is that you can pick where you want to live, you can pick the cars you want to drive, you can help who you need or want to help, you can have more control.

Copy the God of the Bible (Jesus)

In the beginning, God created the world and He carefully outlined what He would do for seven days; and then He went out to bring it into fruition. If you can learn to copy that method in your life, you'll be who you want be, being doing what you want to do, and have what you want to have.

It starts with your passions and what you're really good at. Go with those and learn to monetize it, or use other vehicles like a college education, a mentor education, or someone's system to get the financial status you want in order to live your dreams. That's it my friend, are you in control of your life? If not, take these steps to get control of your life.
