Why Aren't You Eating Flavanoids?

Hey there I just got this from the Strip That Fat Team,

Today's flavor of the day is...

FLAVANOIDS!

Flava what?   I know this sounds like some sort of spacey compound, but in reality it is something that we should all know about because of its impact on our health.

To be technical, flavanoids are polyphonic compounds that are found in fruits, vegetables and beverages like tea, coffee, beer wine and fruit drinks.  Okay, so why do we care about flavanoids?

They are very beneficial for our health, as they have antiviral, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties (the 4 A's).

Most flavonoids function in the human body as antioxidants. In this capacity, they help neutralize overly reactive oxygen-containing molecules and prevent these overly reactive molecules from damaging parts of cells.

In non-scientific terms, a flavanoid is a natural compound which helps protect our bodies against disease. They also provide vitamins and enzymes, so they are just packed full of nutritional benefits!

Here are just a few things that flavanoids do for you body...
  • Strengthen blood vessels
  • Enhance the power of your vitamin C
  • Protect cells from oxygen damage(antioxidant)
  • Prevent inflammation in your body/joints
They can also help prevent cancer, heart disease and strokes, and can help with issues like asthma, hay fever, eczema, rheumatoid arthritis,  gout, fibromyalgia and even your everyday bug bite.

You may not be getting enough flavanoids if you have:
  • Easy bruising
  • Frequent nose bleeds
  • Excessive swelling after injury
  • Frequent colds or infections
So, what does that mean?  Up your intake of fruits and veggies!

Flavanoids can be found in apples, apricots, blueberries, pears, raspberries, strawberries, grapes, oranges, black beans, cabbage, onions, parsley, pinto beans and tomatoes, to name a few.  They can also be found in beverages like grapefruit juice and green or black tea, and even red wine, so no matter what your eating habits are, you can get flavanoids into your diet.

You can also get extra flavanoids into your diet by taking supplements.  You can get flavanoids in anything from grape seed extract, green tea extract to vitamin capsules you can purchase at the drug store.  We do recommend that you get it naturally in fruits and veggies if you can, but quality supplements are always an option.

Flavanoids are a great preventative nutrient, and give you vitamins such as vitamin C, so you can't go wrong by adding them into your daily food routine.

Throw some blueberries in your morning shake, have green tea while watching your favorite movie, or even enjoy a glass of red wine with your friends, and you will be helping your body fight against poor health.

You are now informed!  Have a healthy day,

The Team @
Strip That Fat

Do Skinny People Get the Best Jobs?

Hey there, on the subject of health... I thought this article was good from the Strip that Fat Team

In a word, yes.

A study published in the British Medical Journal finds the healthier you are, the richer you will become. Researchers examined the link between health and wealth in rich countries, and found that healthier people are more productive at work, earn more, and spend more days in the work force because they don't take as much sick leave.

A population-based survey was performed on this subject, including 2068 women and 2314 men with linked income data from a taxation register. Regression analysis was used to calculate mean income levels within these educational and occupational groups.

The results were fascinating...

Compared with their normal-weight counterparts, obese women with higher education or in upper white-collar positions had significantly lower income; a smaller income disadvantage was seen in overweight women with secondary education and in manual workers.

Excess body weight was not associated with income disadvantages in men.

It may seem obvious, but an investment in health produces big returns for individuals (especially women), their families and the economy as a whole. We do not believe that this is fair one bit, but it is something that we all need to consider.

Exercise and healthy eating improve the blood flow within the most vital organ to your success...your brain.

You, like all of us, most likely want more money and more success, but the very first steps should be incorporating exercise and a regular diet into your schedule.

Here is a quick question for you:
Have you ever been at work and eaten a very unhealthy lunch or snack while sitting at your desk (99% of you are answering yes right now, we all do it).

What follows this snack or meal however, is what we are talking about...

Did you feel lazy, unexcited about work and uninspired? Chances are you did.

Conversely, if you ate a healthy lunch and went for a walk, you would have come back rejuvenated, thinking in a positive way, and thinking clearly.

Here are couple interesting stats:

(1) People that are fit earn more money
(2) People that are fit get better jobs
(3) People that are healthy typically experience less stress
(4) People that are fit have a more positive outlook on life

So, if you want more money, a better job, less stress and a better outlook on life, you should incorporate a "fitness" and "health" routine in your diet.

Take care and have a great day!

Your Friends,

The Team @

Get Your Minerals

Minerals are the invisible ingredients that play a very important role in almost every reaction that takes places within the billions of cells in our body. Their functions range from enabling enzymes to activating chemical reactions, and from building good bone structure to promoting healthy brain functions.

Since the body cannot and does not manufacture minerals itself, we have to ingest minerals from the food we eat. Enter problem here; as today the soil does not contain the essential minerals it once did. Dr. Joel Wallach, who attained his first degree in Agriculture has sited that we are not going to have health because the ground is not a potent as it once was.

Pastor Henry Buie has said that man has spoiled the earth because they won't allow it to rest every seven years as commanded by God. All these play a big role in why the health of many in the world has plunged!
Recent studies have illustrated this clearly, and also shown the effects this has on our health.
  • A study from Canada shows that in the last 50 years, foods show a sharp decline in the nutrients they contain including calcium, iron and other minerals.

  • Another study by the U.S. Department of Agriculture reports that a significant number of Americans cannot get sufficient amount of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper, and manganese from the food they consume.

  • This means that even if you consume a diet rich in fresh fruits, veggies and meat, your health is still at risk due to one or more vitamin and mineral deficiencies. A mineral deficiency can be even more detrimental to health than a lack of vitamins, as vitamins themselves cannot function without the aid of minerals.

    Choose Your Mineral Supplements Wisely

Here are some guidelines for selecting a quality mineral supplement.

  • Supplementing Minerals and Other Nutrients at Once

As any nutrient deficiency is an open invitation to health problems, it is crucial to take nutritional supplements that contain not only the minerals but also vitamins and other nutrients that are essential to maintain general well-being.

Choose a vitamin mineral supplement, which also includes trace minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, bioflavonoids, and herb extracts to help combat all malnutrition issues at once.

  • Choose Chelated Minerals for Better Absorption

The body changes mineral substances to a chelated form in the digestive system to make sure that the minerals are readily available for absorption. In many people, however, this process does not function as well as it should, meaning that mineral supplements cannot be absorbed.

So it is wise to consider a mineral supplement that uses chelated minerals, which can increase absorption by as much as ten times.
I compiled a list of companies who provide excellent minerals; however, I do recommend the mineral supplement at GetYourMinerals.com. They have combined all 90 of your essential nutritents and have laced it with antioxidants, bioflavonoids, and herb extracts.

the Blueprint of Life

Organization is always the key to getting anything done. Even when people totally mess up your plan, if you have a well written blueprint to how your life is suppose to go, errors in the midst of it can be correct and the plan can continue.

The problem is we are like babies. Our attention is distracted by things like TV, FB, TWT, TXT, and if you know all the abbreviations then you know what I'm talking about.

I've found a solid way to write a blueprint that you can copy & enjoy the benefits of it forever. Read Genesis chapter one in the Bible. God lays out a plan of what He wants to do over the next seven days. We should copy this.

We should have our weeks in order before the week comes. Then share you weekly plans with people, this will lesson the amount of people that bother you during the day and week (that is if they really care about you).

It works out pretty good; day one, you write out what you need to create, accomplish, or do, and so forth. Let me know this works out for you.

More In - Less Out

The Grand Law of Wealth: Increase Your Income & Decrease Your Outgoings

Although it is very simple, easy understand, and a matter of fact, it is not practiced or done by millions around the world and country. If you want to amass wealth, all you have to do is increase your "incomings" and decrease your outgoings. Even if you are dependent of state "welfare," if you spent less than your welfare assistance money, you'd be developing wealth.

A good storied example is the "Riches Man in Babylon."

If you earn $50K per year and manage to only spend $30K; you're saving and keeping twenty thousand dollars a year. That can be used for investing or other projects.

In the grand scheme of things, it's really that simple. If you are spending more than you're earning, your wealth begins to go into the negative.

If you are earning more than you're spending, then your wealth increases.
Period.

How to fix this if it is not correct in your financial life? Nix any outgoing payables that are not 1000% necessary. Attempt to cut back (including your living arrangements) until you have 200 to 300 dollars after all expenses have been paid. This is called liquidation. You just want to keep expenses lower than income.

When it comes to cash, more in and less out. View it this way, a man who earns a million a year and spends 2 million a year is broker than a man who earns 20 thousand a year and spends 10 thousand.

It's not rocket science; more in less out. Peace!

Time to Confront Your ___________

Dear Reader,

Today being the 8th Anniversary of 9/11, I felt this
quote from Rudy Giuliani particularly appropriate:

"When you confront a problem you begin to solve it."

Is it time to solve a problem causing you despair?
Confront it today by rearranging your daily habits.

This can be done very easily with a simple software and
system for free. More info here...

Organization is a Science

George Washington Carver, was a man
who was born into slavery but became one of the
greatest scientific minds in history.

He dedicated his life not only to science but also
to teaching former slaves farming techniques for
self-sufficiency.

It makes me wonder why he care about teaching
the next man? Why didn't he just continue to
do for himself?

It is because humans who are able
to do something special, who have a special
skill and have compassion and love in
their hearts; always want to help the next person
and make their lives much better.

As this week nears an end I can't help but share again
something I think is very helpful and beneficial to
anyone who needs or wants it.

This week I wrote an article on how to organize your
life and get rid of clutter. One solution I spoke of was
to first get rid of mental clutter.

I hope you got a chance to read the article and share it
with people you care and love most; also with those who
need it. Take care.

Giving to the Poor

I've always had a heart out for the poor; in fact I use to really engage in conversations with "wine-os" and "homeless bums" when I was in primary school (high school) really to see where they went wrong and how they ended up on the streets.

I was very curious to find out how they landed on the ground begging for pennies from kids half their age. I wanted to know so that I can avoid doing what they did. Yeah, teachers tell us and parents warn us but there is no better person to learn from than a successful homeless person.

Throughout the years I've learn a great deal; it has even inspired me to write a book (coming soon). The truth of the matter is that no matter where you go there will always be poor people. Jesus said in the bible there will always be the poor; so we just have to deal with this fact.

However, the preacher said, in Proverbs 19 verse 17, the person who has pity on the poor and gives to them is ultimately lending to the Lord. Imagine that! You are lending money to God when you give to the poor. And better than that, the Lord God will repay you again that which you gave to the poor. This is an easy and awesome thing to take advantage of.

Of course, do it with a good heart and with good intentions as the Lord is no fool! But you do get my point, that giving to the poor is something that pleases our Creator. So let's not put our noses in the air when we pass the poor in our streets, it may very well be the Lord looking at us to see if we'll lend Him a few bucks or a cup of coffee, a warm smile, or a concern look of pity wishing you could help but you have to get to work or catch the train or bus.

Pleasant day to all,

The Simple Marketing of Saying Thank You

The Simple Marketing of Saying Thank You:

Today I want to go back to the basics, back to the drawing board, back to the simple marketing words taught to us when we were two years of age.

If you’ve heard of Dale Carnegie, you’ve heard of his best selling book, “How to Win Friends and Influence People. In chapter two titled, the Big Secret of Dealing with People, Dale notes to give honest and sincere appreciation. And the single best way to do this as a business owner is to say “thank you.”

Let Them Wear Our Princely Robes

Good day;

It is in all of us to have a retributive heart at times or a vengeful mindset when it comes to how someone treated us wrongly.  But in the words of Eddie Murphy in Coming to America, as he played the role of Akeem, he said "let them wear our princely robes."  When you can mentally rise above what others are doing evilly to you, you (metaphorically speaking) allow them to wear your old clothes.  You just move forward, forgive, you don't have to forget, but forgive and move on with your life.

You're moving forward so you are ahead in the previous step you were at in the past.  You were wearing jeans and polos; but now you're wearing suits and ties.  So move forward; "we are in New York now, let us dress as New Yorkers."  So let them wear your previous clothes that you do not even need any longer.

Low Cardio Can Change Your Life

EVEN LOW INTENSITY CARDIO CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE

By the time I was sixteen years old I began to hang out with my mother in an effort to spend more time with her. One of my mother's favorite past times was to play the game of bingo. As an employee of the United States Postal Service she had undergone many stressful days on the job, so she relished the idea of having an extra curricular activity that she could enjoy and win some money at the same time. The thing about playing bingo in the Detroit area was that there weren't many places where you could good get a good bang for your buck.
In an effort to make the most of her money that meant one thing; we had to travel to Canada. The city of Windsor, Ontario (Canada) was roughly about a 15 minute drive from my house. The only major issue with travel between Detroit and Windsor was the fact that you had to pay $2.50 departing and re-entering the United States. Sometimes you may get hassled by border patrol and be delayed for an hour but other than that the trip was smooth.

During my time growing up I had never known any of my elder family members to be "exercisers".
They were hard workers but never were they people who owned gym memberships or attended aerobics classics. I was happy to have found some information that I could pass on to my elders. As a sixteen year old I believe that I was still considered a rookie when it came to health concepts and terms. I did not know what the word cardio meant, but I nodded my head as if I understood what the "speed walker" was saying when she spoke of cardio.
I now know that Cardio is short for cardiovascular, which refers to the heart. Cardiovascular exercise is exercise that raises your heart rate and keeps it elevated for a period of time. Another name for it is aerobic exercise. Exercises where there is no break in routine can be considered as cardiovascular. Aerobic exercise improves emotional or mental health, as well as physical health. Vigorous exercise releases endorphins the so-called 'happiness chemicals' – thus helping to improve mood and general well being.
In previous chapters I spoke with you about swimming but upon further thought I realized that not everyone in this world knows how to swim, so I felt the need to put a chapter in that would help the average person regardless of age. What we should understand here is that it is not necessary for you to pound on your body in order to achieve a desired level of personal health. By simply walking for 20 minutes or more 2 to 3 times a week you can:

· Lower risk of early death
· Increase lung capacity
· Reduce the risk of heart disease
· Reduce the risk of diabetes
· Reduce blood pressure
· Reduce blood cholesterol

Here is just a small exerpt from a book in the making from my good friend, professional baskeball player, and author, Damien D. McSwine. I find it amazing that he traveled to over 30 countries and was able to track all of the natural health specialties the country offered and he put it in a book. It is in the making and I thought I'd share this with you today.

I will let you know a week in advance when this golden book is availabe for purchase or download.

Finally - I did It

Hey finally I did it. I went ahead and joined the bandwagon. I jumped the fence, I dived into the pool, I crossed that line, I went off the limb, I opened the gates, I DID IT.

I joined facebook. I know, many are cheering while the people that know me best are wagging the head in disappointment. Go ahead, go ahead do as you wish. But I finally saw the great usefulness in it; and it has not yet perverted itself (facebook), as it's progenitors have in networks like hi-five, blackplanet, and myspace have.

Here is my profile - Yes I did it. Now you have to dig around me to find me. I'm not under my popular email address, I don't post my schools on there (although I may), I don't search for people. I'm on there for merely professional reasons.

I even did the twitter thing; but not for myself, I do it under my business partner's hand Antonio Dannes.
It is good for it's good purpose, and I can only hope it does not get perverted. In working on your personal relationships, social networking is a key tool you can use.

You know in today's world, it is very hard to keep up with people when you have a family, a job or career, and a host of other obligations. These social networking sites can be very instrumental in keeping in touch.

I was against it originally because I always steer away from things that the vast majority of people run towards. Too many people will usually pervert a thing. However, I have seen controlled measures in Mr. Facebook to prevent this, and I am happy with its service.

There you have it, use tools like this to work on your personal relationships. However, do not stalk me on there!

My Top Three Stock Picks

I know you're wondering what in the heck is Due doing picking stocks?  I know... but I'm subscribed to a newsletter by a pretty sharp guy on investing in stocks, and I wanted to share with you something he shared over the weekend.

"North Korea exploded a nuclear weapon within 50 miles of the Chinese border, threatened war against South Korea, and has destabilized the Asian region. North Korea is a loose cannon and all its Asian neighbors are going to step up their defense spending..."

Open a TradeKing account today

Because of this, we are sure some consequences will result and it will flatter the people who take financial investments in the consequences North Korea will invoke.  You can take advantage and trade online with companies that have something to do with the ammunition of war weapons.

In capitalism; there is room to make money in any situation; just ask the foreclosed home owners and those who are buying their homes for dirt cheap.  And no; I haven't given you my 3 top stock picks because I'm not authorized to do such a thing.  I would suggest you the pick stocks from a qualified professional.

Future Home of Due Danz

I saw this home in Downers Grove Illinois (outside of Chicago); now it is not for sale I don't think but it looks like the home I want in the future.  I'm going to look into this home and I plan to purchase it or something like it in 12 to 18 months!

This picture is some of the interior that I would like to have inside of my home.  I like this set up here.  It's a cool cream, relaxing setting for relaxing company and conversation.

Here is a movie room I thought would be nice; I will also play the Xbox and PlayStation in here or something more cozy.  The sound system has to be up to movie theatre standards.
Also, I play chess; so we gotta have the chess room.

This is the room that will bring this whole house together; this is the home office.  You know, the basics, computer, laptop, printer, you can't see back over but there is a couch and love seat.

I must stay in shape so I will work hard to keep an indoor pool in the house to swim and run in.  I think swimming is a great exercise and so to get a pool will be an excellent choice.  Why in the house?  I don't want to swim in too much chlorine and I don't want to swim in other people's germs; you know swine-flu and all...

Here is another lounge-type room that is nice to my eyes.

You can help me vote on which home office looks better.  Well really, which home office do you think I will get more work done in?

I like spacey type of rooms as well.  Never mind the view because my home will be on the ground; but it is just the room setting I wanted in this photo.

Here is the living room; I like the furniture and setting.  It's kind of cluttered to me; but I will move a few things around.

My daughter loves Sponge Bob; so this would be an ideal room.  What about when she's a teenager; I'll use this room because I love Sponge Bob too.

Here is another children's room.  I know how many children do you have?  Let's keep moving...

Here is the entertainment room where we can play chess and have drinks.  I don't have many guest over now so I wonder who I will be playing against.

This is what my house I plan to purchase will entail...

Reading the Bible Every Day

Reading the bible everyday takes focus, consistency, dedication, and desire.  While it can be hard to do this with a busy schedule; it is still possible.  When I was in primary school, my elder brother and I use to wake up and go to the basketball gym to shoot jump shots to perfect our shooting and overall game.  Imagine two kids waking up at 5am to play basketball to get better and be the best.

When I looked at my profession that I am in currently; I can't help but notice I rarely do that and for the Word of God, before I was shown His true Word by a teaching priest, I rarely did the early morning preparation I did when I was training as a basketball player.  Isn't that a shame.  However, when you know better that is the primary and optimal time to do better and today you can catch me reading the bible every morning as early as 5am.

A collegiate friend told me to wake up and meditate at 4 or 5am in college because it helps your focus through the day (he forgot to tell me it makes you extremely tired too if you go to bed to late).  So lately I haven't put any lessons together because I've been part of a challenge to wake up and read the bible from Genesis to Revelation in the next 90 days.

Even though the bible says to read here a little and there a little, line upon line, precept up precept; it is still important to read it right through so you can piece together the history of our world from the mind of God; in the order God saw it and delivered to prophets to share.  The bible starts wide then narrows down following one man's family-line, Abraham.  To join us just follow the blog here and every morning we write a blog that summarizes what we read.

Daily Bible Food is the real soul food.  Grace and peace in Jesus name on this Sabbath day to you and your household.

7 Simple Ways to Increase Affiliate Commissions

You're in affiliate programs and you've began to make a few commissions and you have a few affiliate checks; you can do some things to double and even triple your checks by doing 7 simple things that literally do not cost a dime.

The first thing you can do is join different forums based on the niche of the product you are promoting. You certainly do not want to go in there selling your product or a product; but be a question answerer. If you provide solutions for people and later on, mention the product you're promoting; your conversion rate will soar and your likeability in that forum.

Secondly, you can start an affiliate program directory. Go out and participate in a good amount of affiliate programs and simply list them all in a 'directory format' on your web site. This cuts your work load down because you can spend your time marketing your free affiliate program directory.

The third way to increase your affiliate checks is to write an ebook to give away for free with affiliate links in them. If anyone read ebooks written in the early internet days; you'd see that is what they did all day long. All you want is for people to download your free ebook that should be filled with good content with affiliate links in them. Don't forget to submit the book to ebook directories as well.

The fourth thing is rather simple; write different ads than the other affiliates promoting the product you're promoting. If you go type in certain keywords on Google, you see a bunch of ads that look the same. Make yours different to get an edge over your competition.

Five, we know many affiliates do not buy or join the programs they are in. If you happen to buy a product, give a personal endorsement ad. Only do this if you've actually purchased the product or service for the affiliate program. Then you can brag all day about how the product or program has helped you.

Six, Participate on web discussion boards like Craiglist. Post your comments, answer other people's questions like you've done in the forums, and ask your own questions. Include your affiliate link as a signature under each message you post.

The seventh thing you can do is start a membership website and use it as a free bonus if people buy the product from your affiliate link.

These things will and have bumped up my affiliate checks personally and can do the same things for you. These 7 steps are taught in detail in many affiliate programs online; but the most worthy is in thewealthy affiliate program. Start cashing bigger checks more often with implementing these 7 simple steps to increase your affiliate checks.

The Secret to Good Health & Weight Loss in 10 Days

Over the past few decades we've seen multiple ways and systems, some kind of crazy, to transform you to look and feel exceptionally great in 10 days or less.

Now I say crazy because the results people get when they do this process for 10 days and see amazing weight loss results is… amazing.  Even though it is amazing, it's really simple and you can really get all you need at your neighborhood health food store.

Now a 10 day system to lose weight, improve your health and just feel overall good would sound to good to be true; but we've all seen much proof in person from friends and associates who've made a total make over or we've seen it on television with thousands doing it.

But this has been around for over 60 years; it's just today it is very popular as information is getting around via TV, internet, and other media outlets.

Even the Hollywood celebrities are putting their hands into it not just to look great for cameras that follow them 24/7 but also to improve their health.  Have you seen Demi Moore?  You have to be in good health to pick up a twenty something year old…

The celebrities don't want a photo with their tummy fat hanging out more than desired do they?  That's a recipe for the tabloids.

What's in Your Mind?

When some one does something offensive and bad to you, you have the right to eliminate that person from your life if you want.  But I read the Bible often and Jesus said to forgive 70 times 7... So in this it is wise to know why someone did something bad.  What if the person is very apologetic?  Do you ignore them?

I wouldn't do that, instead I'd be wiser in how I handle or deal with that person.  People make mistakes all the time.  I'm the type of person that if I wronged you, you can be sure that it was not malicious or purposeful.  I do not like strife and I don't like people being angry with me without a cause, so I attempt to do things that will please God first, then man.

If some wronged me and it was situational and not intentional, we can be back hanging out in a moment.  I'm a forgiving person, that's me not everyone is like that but I am.  But karma says you get what you give out; Jesus says have mercy so that you can obtain mercy.  It more important with your business, personal, and professional relationships to find out what the intention was of someone offending you.

A great number of mistakes in the world were made with good intentions.  Sometimes a joke goes too far, or you misplace something valuable, or you just lose track of time, or in anger you say something that was taken out of context.  The person was not trying to hurt you.

It's important to look at your history with that person and see if they have been the type to maliciously harm you physically or mentally.  I'll never forget the story of Balaam and his donkey.  Balaam had used this donkey many years, just like us driving our cars for years on in.  One day on a journey he was not suppose to take, his donkey saw an angel with a sword standing in the way and the donkey stopped short scared for it's life.

Balaam whipped the donkey with his rod.  The donkey proceeded and saw the angel again; and it stopped short again.  Balaam again whipped the horse.  The third time the donkey pushed to the side road gashing Balaam's foot against the wall, and the frustrated Balaam began to curse his donkey and whip it harshly.  Then the donkey spoke to Balaam calmly and asked, "all these years you have been riding have I ever done anything like this?"

Balaam answers "no."  Then the donkey proceeds to wonder why Balaam is acting so harshly without finding out why or the donkey's intentions.

The donkey then shows Balaam what he saw, which was an angel standing with a sword, and the angel told Balaam if the donkey did not use discretion, of surety he would be dead.  In your relationships find out the individuals intention, why did they do that and have mercy on their response.  The best healing mechanism is forgiveness.  Remember the last words of the most famous man ever to live, "forgive them Father for they know not what they do."

Health Includes Mental Health

Sometimes when we ask our friends how do they feel, and they reply "fine" we should all be aware that that is just a feeling.  It has no fact to it and could very well be false.  So I tend to ask more direct questions like; "how is your health?"  Typically, from our last doctors appointment we should know that we are well or we have a few concerns to keep an eye out for.

However in general people say they are doing good and believe this includes their health over all; but they do not include their mental health.  Are you stressed?  Are you angry?  Are you frustrated?  Do you have abnormal conversations with yourself or imaginary friends?

Michael Jordan once said if your feet are hurting you will have a terrible time playing basketball.  I say if you have a mental health issues you will have a terrible time in your overall health.  All health issues begin in your mind.  It is then crucial to take particular care of your mentally to prevent further health conflicts.  So if asked are you healthy, answer the question honestly and include your mental health as well.  Take care for now.

How Shall We Eat?

In the Bible the disciples came to Jesus and asked Him how shall we pray?  If I lived in that time and knew that Jesus was the Messiah, and that the Messiah was indeed God I would have asked a lot more questions.  One question I would have asked would have been, "how shall we eat?"

You see, eating is something that we take for granted in the United States (at least some parts), but even if you are dirt poor and very rich, eating should be as follows:

One should only eat when they have earned the hunger.  Plenty of times we make the mistake of eating to appease our appetites.  This can be dangerous and is in many cases.  I do not know what Jesus would have answered, but I do know that it dangerous and unnatural to eat when one is not hungry.

We must start to think of our bodies as machines.  When you think about it; we build machines after how our bodies are build (cars, etc.).  Machines need rest, they need proper intake of material for operation.  If one can sum up the discipline to eat only when they are hungry and have earned the hunger, the person can lose weight without a lot of trick diets, avoiding favorite foods, and other things that make losing weight or dieting a headache.

In a few days I'll write more on this topic.  Have a great day and eat when you are hungry (distinguish between hunger and appetite).  Hunger is natural, appetite can arise when you smell a burger cooking or when a friend says they want a cheesecake for dessert.  The brain will trick you into thinking you are hungry.  That is appetite.  Wait and obey your hunger.
