The truth is anyone can do it if they want to do it. But it takes more than posting your replicated business online and bidding on keywords. There are free methods out there that I share in my conference calls and classes.
But to get you started you should do these 3 easy steps to really start you off:
1) Right a report about your business; products or service[s] and how it can help someone in need of it. In other words; if you have a product that helps someone see better; write a report that will show them how they can benefit. Obviously only someone who can benefit will read the article (that's called targeting your audience). Get a domain and web hosting: two of the best is ThirdSphere or 1an1Hosting these two especially thirdsphere gives so many extras like autoresponders included; then open a Google Account @ www.adwords.com
2) Write copy that really gets your prospects attention (that's a bold headline); holds their interest (with benefits and a promise); helps them make a decision and take action. You really want a name and contact information so you can follow up with people since many people do not make a purchase the first time they visit your website.
