Alex Rodriguez is a baseball player who plays for the New York Yankees. He has hit a rough patch in his career though and you know this if you follow baseball or the Yankees. It seems like these days he can’t hit a baseball to save his life, good thing for contracts. This is a big deal because he gets paid the most money on the New York Yankees payroll. Still, it’s obvious that he always has time for the ladies.
At the ALCS game Alex Rodriguez was seen flirting with two women. He just faced a strike out in the eighth inning when this occurred. Rodriguez wrote on a baseball and gave it to the girls. The message on the baseball asked the girls to write their numbers on it and give the baseball back to him. One girl did as Alex suggested.

For me personally, it’s good to see Alex Rodriguez not feeling down about his slump. He’s extremely talented, and I’m sure he’ll get his groove back. He found another alternative to make himself happy which was women. This usually works with most men, glad A-Rod decided to use it too. Having the girls respond positively to his advances had to make him feel good about himself. Especially at a time when he’s probably getting much scrutiny and criticism.
On the other hand, what he did at these playoffs might turn a lot of fans off. They might think, “oh, he has enough time to flirt but not enough time to focus and practice on his professional game.” It might come off to fans that Alex Rodriguez doesn’t care. Too many people spend their hard earned money on this playoff game for a baseball player not to care. Hey are we paying for wins or entertainment or both? I’m sure the Yanks wanted a headline that reads “Alex Rodriguez Flirts with Women!”
